When I am asked what is my drug of choice, I say music. So when I heard of the Karibu Music Festival to be held in Bagamoyo from November 7-9, I knew I had to attend. Not even the mad Dar es Salaam traffic could keep me away. The festival was organised by Amarido Charles Kilinda, who is also the chairman of the festival. The festival was held at the Mwanakalenge grounds from 3:30pm to half past midnight on all three days. I attended on the second day. Dar es Salaam – The famous Karibu Music Festival will be held on the 7th – 9th November hosting performers from around the world, reports the Daily News.  The popular genre, Bongo Flava will grace the stage, where one should look forward in seeing Barnaba, Professor Jay, Shilole and Juma Nature. Other local artists will be Mama Africa, Tongwa Ensemble, Jhiko Man, Africabisa Band and many many more.
